My Time & Professional Services Thank you for supporting my small business and allowing me to do what I love for a living. After many years in this industry, I have learned that clearly defined policies help protect both my clients and my time. My salon is my career and my livelihood. The time I reserve for each appointment is time that I cannot offer to another client. I am committed to providing every client with professional, personalized service, and I ask that my time and expertise be treated with the same respect. Appointments, Cancellations & Rescheduling Appointments are reserved specifically for you. I understand that life happens and occasionally an appointment needs to be changed. However, last-minute cancellations, no-shows, and repeated rescheduling prevent me from filling that time with another client. A 50% cancellation fee will be charged for: * Appointments canceled with less than 48 hours' notice * Appointments rescheduled with less than 48 hours' notice * No-shows The cancellation fee is based on the scheduled service amount. Appointments canceled or rescheduled with 48 hours or more notice may be moved to another available appointment without a cancellation fee. Repeated rescheduling may result in a required deposit or may limit future appointments to same-day or last-minute availability. I reserve the right to decline future appointment requests when repeated scheduling changes make it difficult to maintain my schedule and business. Additional Services Services are priced according to the time, expertise, products, and preparation required to perform them. Additional services cannot be added to an appointment without being booked and, when applicable, charged separately. For example, a hair appointment does not automatically include makeup, brow services, product consultations, or other professional services simply because I am qualified to provide them. I am always happy to discuss additional services and schedule them for you. Professional Advice & Consultations My professional knowledge and expertise are part of the services I provide. If you would like personalized advice regarding products, hair, makeup, color, styling, or other professional services, I am happy to help. Depending on the nature and amount of time involved, a consultation may need to be scheduled as a paid service. Travel & Off-Site Services I no longer routinely offer house calls or off-site services. In exceptional circumstances, I may agree to provide an off-site service. When I do, my professional rate of $60 per hour applies to my time, including travel. For example, if an off-site appointment requires one hour of round-trip travel, $60 in travel time will be added to the service. Any applicable parking, tolls, or other travel expenses may also be the responsibility of the client. Pricing & Discounts My prices reflect the cost of my time, professional experience, education, products, equipment, business expenses, and the time I reserve specifically for each client. I do not negotiate service prices. Occasionally, I may choose to offer a promotion, complimentary service, or special pricing at my own discretion. These are gifts from me and are not an expectation or entitlement. Friends & Family I love being able to support the people I care about, and I am grateful for the support of my friends and family. However, my professional services are also my livelihood. Being a friend or family member does not automatically make professional services complimentary. When I choose to provide a service as a gift, that is something I will offer voluntarily. Otherwise, my regular service rates apply. My Commitment to You My goal is never to make anyone feel uncomfortable about these policies. These guidelines simply allow me to run my business sustainably while continuing to provide the quality and personal attention my clients have come to expect.
